Wren Frueh serves as the Certification Program Coordinator for the Cedar Team, providing administrative and communication support between the Cedar Team and organic operators. They joined PCO in 2023 as mentorship coordinator for the Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) and oversaw more than 200 farmer-to-farmer mentorships. Wren grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where they still live today.

They graduated from Grinnell College with a BA in Agriculture and Sustainable Development. Before PCO, Wren worked for a land trust dedicated to protecting natural and working landscapes in Virginia. Wren loves calling the Blue Ridge Mountains home, biking, and cooking for friends and family.
