Jaclyn Bowen - Nominating Committee Chair

Jaclyn Bowen is a recognized leader in food safety and quality systems engineering and a fierce advocate for transparency in food and consumer product labeling. With deep roots in food safety and water quality standards development, Jaclyn's career includes key leadership roles within Clean Label Project, focusing on truth and transparency in food and consumer product labeling, and NSF International, holding a variety of executive leadership roles and developing technical standards and compliance systems for organic, halal, cGMP, and SQF programs. She consults with a range of customers from regional co-ops to national grocers and multi-national CPG conglomerates.

Beyond her consulting work, Jaclyn is cultivating her own organic and regenerative fruit farm on her family’s new 22-acre farm in Northern Michigan, bringing her passion for sustainability full circle.

She holds degrees in environmental biology, quality engineering, and public health.
