Emily has over five years of experience in organic agriculture, including four years as an organic certification reviewer and nearly two years supporting the Transition to Organic Partnership Program. Before her work in organic certification, she gained experience in agricultural research and, most recently, managed the food safety program for a leafy greens farm. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation, with a minor in Organic and Sustainable Crop Production, and her Master’s degree in Agroecology from the University of Florida.

Originally from Florida, Emily now resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, reading, and baking.
