Membership Programs and Approved Materials List Update
Beginning in 2027, PCO will sunset its Membership Programs and will no longer publish or sell its annual Approved Materials List.
This change will allow PCO to focus its resources and expertise on our core certification work, including the material review services that support the organic integrity of the operations we certify. By focusing on these essential services, we can keep improving how timely, consistent, and high-quality our certification services are.
PCO will honor all existing 2026 Membership contracts through December 31, 2026.
We will also continue to provide material review services. Material review requests must be submitted by PCO-certified clients or applicants for products they plan to use in their organic operation.
We appreciate the organic community’s support of PCO’s Membership Programs and Approved Materials List over the years and are grateful for the role these programs have played in supporting the organic community.
