Alison Garber grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where her early connection to farmland sparked a lasting interest in food systems. Before joining PCO in 2022, she spent sixteen years with Whole Foods Market, gaining extensive experience in communications, marketing, and organizational leadership.

As PCO’s Communications Manager, Alison leads efforts to strengthen the organization’s voice, expand its reach, and support meaningful connections with members and stakeholders.

She lives in Western Pennsylvania, where she enjoys exploring wild spaces with her partner and their dog, Samwise.
