National Organic Program; Proposed Amendments to the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances (Crops, Livestock and Processing)

This proposed rule recommends changing the annotation for tetracycline, which is currently allowed on the National List for organic crop production and adding two substances formic acid and attapulgite, for use in organic livestock production and organic processing, respectively.

Agricultural Marketing Services is requesting that interested persons submit comments on the proposed rule by going to www.regulations.gov, searching for the document number (AMS-NOP-11-0058;NOP-11-09PR) and following the instructions for submitting comments.
